(INDEPENDENCE, Mo., AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a suburban Kansas City woman as a homicide.

Police said in a news release that 63-year-old Louise M. Dickey, of Independence, was found dead Tuesday night at a home in the city. Police haven’t released the cause of death.

The homicide is the second this year in Independence.
