Donald G. Miller

Donald G. Miller, 89, of Holden, Missouri, died Jan. 2, at his home.

Donald was born May 25, 1928, to Roy B. Miller and Eunice Carney in Holden. Donald graduated from Holden High School and went to the United States Army where he served from 1948 to 1952. After leaving the service, Donald worked as a self-employed carpenter.

Donald is survived by four sons, Don Miller, of Holden; John Miller and wife, Ramona, of Topeka, Kansas; Victor Miller; and Ed Miller; one daughter, Glennda Miller, of Virginia; two sisters, Bernice Oder, of Tucson, Arizona; and Betty Mastin, of Raytown, Missouri; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Holden VFW, Post 5844, or American Legion, Post 90, in memory of Donald Glendon Miller.

A celebration of life service is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, at Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home, 407 S. Pine St. in Holden, with full military honors.
