Donna Jeanne Brown-Thomas, age 73, of Warrensburg, died Thursday,
Nov. 2, at Fairview Nursing Home in Sedalia, Missouri.

Graveside services will be held at noon on Monday, Nov. 6, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home.

She was born Oct. 27, 1944, in Warrensburg, the daughter of Robert M. and Jean F. (Smith) Lowery. She graduated from Technical High School in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1962. She owned a ceramics store as well at Stamping Up, both in Knob Noster, Missouri. She enjoyed gardening and feeding the birds.

Donna is survived by four siblings, Diana Lynne Little of Fairview Heights, Illinoise, Larry (Pamela) Lowery of Lilburn, Georgia, Debra Anne (David) McBee of Warrensburg, and Delora Alice “D.J.” Lowery of Centerview, Missoui; a brother-in- law, Jerry Stone of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas; her parents, Robert and Jean Lowery; a sister, Doris E. Stone; and a brother-in- law, David Little.
