The University of Central Misssouri Performing Arts Series Guest Artist Series will feature pianist Slawomir Dobrzanski at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, in the Hart Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public. Dobrzanski frequently performs as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe, South America, China, and throughout the United States, according to a news release. He is a graduate of the Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw, Poland, and the University of Connecticut, where he received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in 2001. He is the founder and former artistic director of the Chopin Society of Connecticut, established in 1999.
