Return With Purpose, a free workshop designed to help military personnel and veterans transition from active duty to civilian life and plan careers, is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at the University of Central Missouri. Registration is being accepted through July 25 for this one-day session, which takes place in Room 101 of the Elliott Student Union.

Return With Purpose is open to military personnel who are preparing to leave service, veterans, members of the National Guard, and reservists. Military spouses who have supported their husbands or wives in their military career, and want to pursue a new direction for personal growth or adjust to a new location, also are encouraged to participate.

Leading the workshop will be Greg Ganschaw, chief executive officer and founder of Return With Purpose. Ganschaw is a U.S. Air Force veteran who has worked with Fortune 500 companies to help employees and corporations maximize their skills, abilities and productivity.

Individuals making reservations should advise him of their name and military status, phone number, and email address. They should also let him know if they are a UCM student. Limited seating is available.
