UCM hosts reggae concert

The UCM Religious Studies program, with support from Student Recreation, the Honors College, the International Center, Center for Africana Studies, the Performing Arts Series and the Center for Multiculturalism and Inclusivity, is set to host the Ghanaian reggae artist and activist, Blakk Rasta, at 7:30 p.m., Jan 28, in Hendrix Hall.
The concert will feature his original Kochuko sound, a new variant of reggae style, incorporating more African influences. Student musicians and members of the ABC Gospel Choir will accompany him during the performance.
The concert is free and open to the public. Tickets are to be purchased through the UCM Performing Arts Series, and will be available in the Administration building, room 100B from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., Monday through Friday, or online at ucmpas.com.
