The Warrensburg Parks and Recreation and 98.5 The Bar Triathlon is set for 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1. Each athlete will swim 300 meters, bike 10 miles, and run a 5K. Prizes will be awarded. Register one week prior to the event to be guaranteed a T-shirt. Participants must register by noon the Friday before the race. The race will start at Nassif Aquatic Center. The fee is $30.

The Trio-Tri will be held at the same time as the individual triathlon at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1. Families or teams can compete. Teams will have three members. One member will swim, the second will bike and the third will run the race. Participants must be registered by Friday, July 24, to receive a shirt for all team members. The fee is $50 per team.

The SuperKid Triathlon is set for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1. The event features a swim, bike and run course, a real transition area, and awards for all participants. Each child must wear a helmet on the bike course. All kids who participate will receive a finisher’s medal and T-shirt. This event is open to children 4-14. Registration must be made by Friday, July 24.
