Exotic animals at Trails Regional Library

Trails Regional Library 432 N. Holden St., Warrensburg, MO, United States

Trails Regional Library in Warrensburg is hosting the program, Animal Avengers, Heroes of the Wild at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 28. There will be a baby red kangaroo, a Hog Island boa constrictor and an African crested porcupine (world's largest porcupine). Summer open archery

Student Recreation and Wellness Center 500 S. Maguire St., Warrensburg, MO, United States

The UCM Student Recreation and Wellness Center will convert one of its basketball courts into an open archery range. Certified archery instructors will be available from 4-7 p.m. July 30 to teach the basics. All equipment is provided. No personal equipment is allowed. The event is free. Three triathalons

The Warrensburg Parks and Recreation and 98.5 The Bar Triathlon is set for 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1. Each athlete will swim 300 meters, bike 10 miles, and run a 5K. Prizes will be awarded.
