Pool party

The Warrensburg Parks and Recreation Little Mermaid Pool Party is set for 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at Nassif Aquatic Center. There will be an underwater treasure hunt, a live mermaid, mermaid crafts, games, and a snack. The event is open to ages 2-7 and is $10 per child, with no cost for parents. Freedom Fest 5K Run/Walk

The Freedom Fest 5K Run/Walk is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, July 4, at the Warrensburg Train Depot. Register early to be guaranteed a T-shirt. The cost is $15 if registered by June 26 and $20 after June 26.
