Kevin Scott Baker, 21, of Holden, Missouri, died Aug. 8, at his home.
The family held a private service Aug. 11, that was followed by a Celebration of Life get together Friday evening.
Kevin was born Dec. 16, 1995, to Kent Steven Baker and Lisa Michelle Campbell Baker in Blue Springs, Missouri.
Kevin graduated from Holden High School in 2014. Kevin spent countless hours working in the shop proudly
rebuilding his Dodge truck to perfection. Kevin worked alongside his dad and brother in their family logging
business. He was a hard worker and very skilled. A family trait going back to his dad and his grandpas.
He loved to hunt, fish, mushroom hunt and go mudding. He had a contagious smile and charming personality. He could put a smile on anyone’s face
in the room and didn’t know a stranger. He loved spending time with his friends.
Surviving his passing are his father, Kent, and mother, Lisa, of the home; his brother Keith Baker of
the home; grandmother, Louise Baker, of Plano, Texas; grandparents, Kenneth and Donna Campbell of Overland
Park, Kansas; numerous aunts and uncles, and a host of friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his
grandfather, Kenneth Baker.
Memorial contributions can be made to Pisgah Cemetery in care of Ben Cast & Son-Wood Funeral Home.
