(JEFFERSON CITY, Mo., AP) — A Missouri prison inmate has been indicted in the killing of a fellow inmate.
Forty-two-year-old David Young was charged Tuesday in Cole County with one count each of second-degree murder and violence against an offender in the Department of Corrections. The Jefferson City News-Tribune (http://bit.ly/20XejDM) reports that Young is serving a seven-year prison sentence at the Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City for possession of a controlled substance.
No attorney is listed for him in online court records.
Court records say he killed an inmate in December by striking and kicking him in the head. The victim was identified only as H.H.
