With improvements underway at Audrey J. Walton Stadium, individuals can expect a pedestrian and vehicular detour on Washington Street, near the stadium, that begins Tuesday, Sept. 10 and will be in place 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Washington Street will remain open with the exception of these times, and will not be closed on weekends. The detour is expected to continue through the end of October. The area affected by the closure is Washington Street between McGoodwin and King streets.
