Chilhowee takes 52-30 road win over Miami

The Chilhowee boys basketball team improved their record to 5-2 with a 52-30 road win Monday against the Miami Eagles.

The Indians started slow, leading just 5-4 after 3 minutes of play. The game changed as the Tribe ratcheted up their defensive intensity to go on a 19-0 run in the first half.

Chilhowee went into the locker room leading 39-10. Dillon Anstine had 15 points in the first half for the Indians.

Coach Joe Murphy was liberal with his bench during the second half. Anstine had another double-double with 17 points and 12 boards. Nick Dallas added 11 points and seven rebounds.

Chilhowee is back in action at home against Calhoun on Thursday night .
