Lady Tigers fall 57-44 to Nevada

The Warrensburg Lady Tigers fell behind in the first half and could not recover in the second half, falling 57-44 Friday to Nevada.

“Early on Nevada was pressing, but we broke their press and just could not convert on some good scoring opportunities,” said WHS coach Bob Rickman. “We convert on those and the game is different from the start.”

Jessica Tiller lead the Lady Tigers in scoring with 13. Taylor Geis added 11, and Rebekka Strahle scored eight.

“I am proud of the improvement we are making, unfortunately it does not show in the box scores, but they are there,” Rickman said.

Warrensburg plays two games in Kansas City with a Wednesday game at Belton and opening conference play at O’Hara Friday.
