University of Central Missouri Athletics, Mules basketball and the area Toys for Tots campaign have teamed up for Wednesday night's game against MidAmerica Nazarene. The game tips off at 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Building. The Jennies basketball team will complete the 2018 calendar year with a nonconference game 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, in the Multipurpose Building against the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles (8-1, 1-0 GLVC). The Jennies will also be hosting a food drive with the proceeds benefitting the Warrensburg Food Center. A program focusing on Missouri bear populations and the management of grasslands and other wildlife habitat in the state will be featured at an upcoming meeting of the Johnson County Citizens for Environmental Action.
