Warrensburg Schools Foundation announces scholarship winners

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – The Warrensburg Schools Foundation is announced the spring semester recipients of the Warrensburg Schools Foundation dual credit scholarships.

The dual credit scholarships are made possible by donations of the Warrensburg R-6 faculty and staff through the payroll deduction program. dual credit courses are taught by qualified WHS teachers and students receive high school and college credit from the University of Central Missouri, State Fair Community College and University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Students receiving the dual credit scholarships are Savannah Heath, Lindsay King, Kathryn Smith, Amber Hastings, Rebecca Gangemella, Chris O’Connor, Regan Slaughter, Nicole Schneider, Brett Ballard, Brittany Marr, Macey Snell, Trenton Classen, Ali Landrum and Jonathan Duhamell.

“Today we recognize and encourage our WHS students to continue their educational journey through obtaining a higher education,” said Bob Lotspeich, Warrensburg Schools Foundation board president.

Warrensburg Schools Foundation dual credit scholarships will also be available for the 2015 fall semester.
