Summer street maintenance program begins Tuesday

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – Road work is scheduled to begin Tuesday on several community streets, according to a news release.

The roads will receive an asphalt surface overlay, and the project is scheduled to be completed by July 31.

“No parking” signs will be placed along the streets and notices will be left at homes and businesses along the construction paths.

The following streets are scheduled for resurfacing:

  • Furmeson Street, from College Street to Maguire Street
  • Sunset Drive, from Devasher Road to Shady Lane
  • Gay Street, from Washington Street to Warren Street
  • Gay Street, from Mitchell Street to Knoll Drive
  • Cooper Boulevard, from Old Missouri Highway to Simpson Drive
  • Tyler Street, from Mitchell Street to Clark Street
  • E. Market Street, from Ridgeview Drive East to the cul-de-sac
