Anita Lyne, 72, of La Monte, Missouri, died Tuesday, June 7.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 9, at Moore Funeral Home in La Monte with Pastor Alan Morse officiating. Interment will follow in La Monte Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Bybee, Coty Comfort, Vance Kuhns, Steven and Wes Lazenby, and Carl Eckles. Honorary pallbearers will be Lyman Lyne III, Kyle Lesmeister, Glenn Powell, Dean Redwing, and Harold Parker. The family will receive friends from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home.
Anita was born Aug. 4, 1943, in Fort Valley, Georgia, the daughter of Jess and Marjorie (See) Parker.
She and Lyman Lyne Sr. were united in marriage on May 21, 1959, in Ft. Meyers, Florida. He preceded her in death on July 31, 2010.
Anita was a member of the La Monte Christian Church. She loved reading, sewing, crocheting, embroidering, cooking, fishing, bowling and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was known for her sense of humor and telling stories.
Anita is survived by three daughters, Candy Lyne and companion, Steve Smith, of Sedalia; Jeanette Limback and husband, Rick, of Warsaw; and Michele Lyne and husband, Steve McMullen, of Oak Grove; a son, Lyman Lyne II and companion, Sabrina Johnson, of Mayview; a sister, Beth Cross, of Ft. Myers; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gene Parker; and two sisters, Jo Ann Parker and Muriel Parker.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Show-Me Christian Youth Home in La Monte and can be left in care of the funeral home.
