Care Connection for Aging Services will conduct a “Medicare 101” presentation at 5:30 p.m. Monday, March 14, at the Warrensburg Senior Center, located at 445 E. Gay St., in Warrensburg. The 30-minute session is designed for people who are new to Medicare. People will learn about the benefits, premiums, deductibles and copayments, as well as the differences in Parts A, B, C and D.

The session is free and open to the public. The presentation will also cover how to find additional help to pay for prescriptions and medical care.

The workshop also addresses prescription drug plans, supplemental insurance and Medicare Advantage plans. A question-and-answer session will follow.

Care Connection partners with CLAIM, the State Health Insurance Assistance Program, to provide Medicare and Medicaid information and assistance in West Central Missouri counties, including Johnson. Care Connection does not sell insurance and will not recommend a particular policy.
