(COLUMBIA, Mo., AP) — Legal wrangling over a documentary about competitive endurance tickling has moved to federal court.

The Columbia Daily Tribune (http://bit.ly/1RoTpMZ ) reports that the defamation lawsuit has been filed against the creators of “Tickled.” The documentary was screened earlier this month during the True/False Film Fest in Columbia.

St. Louis attorney James Sanders filed last week filed to move the case from Boone County Circuit Court to federal court. The reason is the case involves a controversy in excess of $75,000 between citizens of multiple states and a foreign country.

Sanders represents co-directors David Farrier and Dylan Reeve as well as three other people and the production company that produced “Tickled.”

David D’Amato of New York alleges in the lawsuit that false accusations were made against him in the film.
