(WARRENSBURG, Mo., digitalBURG) – Federal agents served a search warrant on a home near Western Missouri Medical Center Thursday morning.

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents, members of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department and members of the Warrensburg Police Department executed the search warrant at approximately 7:40 a.m. at 408 Care Center Drive, according to a WPD news release. The home is near the intersection of Cantebury Drive and Care Center Drive, just outside the northeast corner of the Western Missouri Medical Center campus.

Don Ledford, public affairs officer for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District, said there is a court hearing today in the case. The nature of the search warrant was not available prior to the court hearing.

The WPD is not releasing any further information regarding this warrant.
