(CLAYTON, Mo., AP) — A 20-year-old man is the latest suspect to be accused of assisting in the looting that followed the 2014 grand jury decision not to indict a Ferguson police officer who shot and killed Michael Brown.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/1PIT8ns) reports that St. Louis County prosecutors have charged Warren Whitehead of St. Louis with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor stealing.
Investigators allege Whitehead took part in looting the Beauty Town shop in Ferguson in November 2014. The business was set ablaze.
Authorities say Whitehead returned the the ruins of the building about a month later to steal beauty supplies, hair weaves, wigs and belts.
Online court records do not show whether Whitehead has an attorney.
