(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – The Mules football team is scheduled to play the Bearcats Saturday, Oct. 1, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
The game will kick off at 5 p.m. to coordinate with the Kansas City Royals’ 3:15 p.m. home game at Kauffman Stadium.
“We are very excited about the opportunity to play the defending national champions in Arrowhead Stadium, one of the best venues in the NFL,” head coach Jim Svoboda said. “With both schools having a large alumni presence in the Kansas City area we hope to attract a great crowd to showcase the tremendous athletes in Division II and the MIAA. I’d like to thank Mel Tjeerdsma and the Chiefs for making this event happen.”
This will be the first appearance at Arrowhead Stadium for the Mules and the 13th for the Bearcats. Details regarding tickets, tailgating, and other fan information will be announced at a later date, according to a news release.
