(KANSAS CITY, Mo., AP) — Authorities are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed on Interstate 70 in Kansas City.

KMBC-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1OcBeIi ) that a vehicle apparently hit the man early Friday morning, and police are searching for the driver. A section of the highway was closed for about two hours because of the fatality.

The victim’s identity hasn’t been released.
