(Warrensburg, Mo.) — The city is now handling sewer utility billing services.
Beginning Thursday, all billing, collections, shut-offs, questions and concerns regarding sewer utility billing transitioned from a contracted company to the City of Warrensburg Sewer Utility Billing Department, according to a news release.
Any previous sewer bills can be paid to the City of Warrensburg. Zone billing will take effect immediately, which will allow residents to receive their water and sewer utility bill at relatively the same time. The first set of bills will be sent out at the same time, so customers may receive two bills closer together for the first cycle.
Residents can expect to see their new bill the week of Nov. 24.
