With a 13 percent turnout at the polls, Warrensburg voters passed the Warrensburg R-6 School District bond issue with 60.20 percent in favor.

The bond issue will fund improvements to Ridge View Elementary, the Warrensburg Middle School and Warrensburg High School.

Beth Rutt was elected to return to the Warrensburg Board of Education with Tom McCormack.

Rita White was elected to a five-year term on the Board of Trustees for Western Missouri Medical Center. Gerienne Bliss finished second and Normand D. Wilcher finished third.

Greg Hassler was elected to the three-year term with the hospital Board of Trustee with 1,859 votes to Amanda Montalbano’s 1,438 votes.

Of the 27,695 voters registered,  3,702 ballots were cast.
