Jennies Golf finishes in seventh at Upper Iowa Invitational

(MORAVIA, Iowa) – Jennies Golf finished in seventh place in the Upper Iowa University Invitational this past Saturday and Sunday.

UCM shot a two-round total of 667 in the tournament at The Preserve on Rathburn Lake Golf Course.

Katie Threlkeld tallied the high individual score for the Jennies, finishing in a tie for 17th after shooting a two-round 158. Augustana’s Emily Kvidera took home individual medalist honors at the tournament, firing a 143 to finish one-under.

Krystal Martinez was the next-highest placer for the Jennies, finishing tied for 27th with a score of 162, Kayla Temple was 36th with a score of 167, Jordan Thoreson finished 51st with a score of 180 and Liz Boatright rounded out the Jennies lineup in a tie for 52nd place with a score of 183.

Augustana took home the team title with a score of 589 followed by Concordia-St. Paul (604), Missouri Western (631) and Upper Iowa (640). Truman rounded out the top five with a score of 644.

The Jennies return to the course April 13-14 when they travel to Sioux Falls, S.D. to compete in the Augustana Invitational at Prairie Green Golf Course.
