Lisa L. Evans, 55, of Holden, Missouri, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017 at her home.

Memorial services are scheduled for 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden with the Rev. Charles Brant officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Lisa was born Sept. 14, 1962, in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Leonard D. and Edith (Gibson) Walburn. In 1964, the family moved to a farm near LaTour, Missouri. Lisa attended school in Harrisonville. She was employed with Circle K Corporation for several years. She moved to Princeton, Kentucky, briefly prior to returning to the Kansas City area. Lisa was united in marriage to Michael V. Evans on May 17, 2003, in Kansas City. The couple has resided south of Holden for the past 11 years. Lisa passionately loved animals. She also enjoyed crocheting and especially time spent with family.

Survivors include her husband, Mike; two daughters, Jamie Natale and husband, Sean, of Kansas City, Missouri; and Ashley Schulmeyer, of Odessa, Missouri; son, Shane Evans of Independence, Missouri; father, Leonard Walburn, of Bolivar, Missouri; sister, Tracy Cornelison and husband, Chris, of Holden; brother, Ricky Snell, of Omaha; and four grandchildren, Tyler, Logan, Emily and Isabella. She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Warrensburg Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
