(LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo.) – The Warrensburg cross country team won the Lee’s Summit North Invitational Saturday, Sept. 1 at Longview Community College.

Three Tigers placed in the top 10 in the 2.1-mile race out of 73 runners – Trent Classen, fourth, 11:36; Alex Burson, sixth, 11:43; and J.P. Espinoza, seventh, 11 :45.

Max Burson placed 12^th, 11:53; Albert Fleer, 21^st, 12:14; Nick Forsythe, 31^st, 12:33; and George Kraus, 51^st, 13:11.

Warrensburg took first with 48 points, followed by Lee’s Summit North, 50; Truman, 76; Lee’s Summit West, 89; Lee’s Summit, 151; Blue Springs South, 154; Clinton, 199; Fort Osage, 212; William Chrisman, 221; and Sedalia Smith-Cotton, 259.
