Despite Jennies volleyball’s premature exit from the NCAA Tournament, two of the Jennies best hitters continue to earn postseason individual awards.
Junior Audrey Fisher picked up two All-Region honors following her All-MIAA first team selection. The Division II Collegiate Commissioners Association named Fisher to its All-Region team. Fisher then was named to the American Volleyball Coaches of America’s All-Region first team after leading the Jennies in kills for the 2018 season. Her kills per set and hitting percentage were top-five in the MIAA.
Senior Kylie Hohlen earned First Team College Sports Information Directors of American Academic All-District for her academic work. Hohlen is an elementary education major and sports a 4.0 GPA. Hohlen was also named to the AVCAs All-Region team as an honorable mention, her second consecutive season earning all-region honors.
Both Fisher and Hohlen were announced as AVCA honorable mention All-Americans in a press release from the AVCA Tuesday.
Hohlen’s first team recognition from CoSIDA nominates her for the Academic All-American team which will be announced in December.
